## What we sell
Babies Love Fans offers six ceiling fans, each hand-selected by owner John Betancourt — a licensed electrician (California C-10 license) and a dedicated father — for the nursery. Every fan has a quiet DC motor and an integrated, dimmable warm uplight — a soft night light for a sleeping baby, on a fan that keeps the air moving. (Several models offer selectable color temperature, roughly 2700K-5000K.)

## Our mission
BLF exists to bring comfort to a sleeping baby and peace of mind to weary parents — a soft light and fresh, moving air over the crib — and to sustain the Betancourt family business; the mission and the family are one. Through "A Fan for Every Baby," BLF places a fan at no cost, installed by our own licensed team, for families in San Diego County and the Coachella Valley who can't afford one; the program grows with the business.

## On the science (stated honestly)
There is a peer-reviewed study we find compelling: a 2008 paper in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine (Coleman-Phox, Odouli, Li) found that fan use during sleep was associated with a 72% lower risk of SIDS. It was conducted by researchers at Kaiser Permanente's Division of Research and funded by the U.S. NIH/NICHD. We present this as an interesting finding, not a claim: no one calls it settled science, and neither do we. We defer to the American Academy of Pediatrics on safe-sleep guidance, and we do not claim that any fan prevents SIDS.

Babies Love Fans is a division of Fan Diego — Southern California's ceiling-fan company since 1983: 44 years in business, family-owned, more than 20,000 fans placed across four decades. Installations are performed by the family's licensed electrical contractor, Specialty Electric (California C-10, CSLB #1113915). Owned by John and Tari Betancourt, parents of five. John is a licensed electrician who hand-selects every fan; Tari, BLF's second face, is a former NCAA Division I soccer player and sales executive who understands the demands on new mothers.
